Function
Catalyzes the oxidative deamination of primary amines to the corresponding aldehydes with the concomitant production of hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. Has a preference for 2-phenylethylamine, tryptamine and tyramine. Could also act on methylamine and benzylamine but much less efficiently.
