Catalyzes the acetyl-CoA-dependent acetylation of lysine residues of a large number of target proteins. Acetylates RNase R in exponential phase cells and RNase II. Required for the glucose-dependent acetylation on multiple lysines of alpha, beta and beta' RNAP subunits.
