Function
Copper-binding protein involved in copper resistance and homeostasis. Probably mediates copper resistance by sequestering the excess of copper in the periplasm. May act as a copper carrier in the oxidizing periplasmic space that exchanges either Cu(I) or Cu(II) with its putative partners CopA, CopB and CopD.
