Function
Necessary for early peroxisomal biogenesis. Acts both as a cytosolic chaperone and as an import receptor for peroxisomal membrane proteins (PMPs). Binds and stabilizes newly synthesized PMPs in the cytoplasm by interacting with their hydrophobic membrane-spanning domains, and targets them to the peroxisome membrane by binding to the integral membrane protein PEX3.

Immobilized EGFR at 1 μg/ml can bind Anti-EGFR recombinant antibody, the EC50 of human EGFR protein is 2.867-3.571 ng/ml.;Human EGF protein captured on COOH chip can bind Human EGFR protein, his and Myc tag with an affinity constant of 11.9nM as detected by LSPR Assay.;Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized EGFR at 1 μg/ml can bind Cetuximab, the EC50 of human EGFR protein is 0.6919-1.047 ng/ml.
